Danny Sallom of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away on February 21, 2026, leaving behind a heartbroken family, fiancé, and a vibrant community that cherished them deeply.
Danny was engaged to Jeremy Gonzalez, and together they shared a love that friends described as beautiful, supportive, and full of light.

They are also survived by their loving sister, Tara Ann, who mourned the loss of her “baby brother” in an emotional tribute that reflected the deep bond they shared.
In New Bedford and beyond, Danny was more than a name.
They were known in the local drag and theater communities as “Ultima,” a radiant performer whose presence commanded every stage they stepped onto.
At The Gallery Bar NB, Danny became a beloved figure.
The venue shared that Danny was not just a performer but a mentor, a friend, and a force who uplifted everyone lucky enough to know them.
From unforgettable performances at The Gallery Bar and The Vault to countless nights filled with laughter and artistry, Danny’s energy shaped the local scene in powerful ways.
Danny was also an active performer with Your Theatre, Inc., where they brought characters to life in productions such as And Then There Were None, Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike, Once Upon a Whaleship, Six Degrees of Separation, California Suite, and Crimes of the Heart.
Fellow actors described Danny as exceptionally talented, passionate, and gone far too soon.
Their impact extended to the regional Pride community as well.
Danny frequently performed for the Fall River Pride Committee, always delivering powerful performances and celebrating queer joy with authenticity and pride.
Friends remembered Danny as sweet, selfless, creative, and fiercely supportive.
